Shao-Chuan Wang

Shao-Chuan Wang, or Shawn Wang, is a scientist. His research interests include supvervised/unsupervised learning problems, computer vision, object recognition (segmentation-based object categorization). He expects himeself to become a great scientist by making fundamental and applicable contributions, particularly in machine learning field.
Shao-Chuan Wang received his B.S and M.S degrees in physics within dean's list at National Taiwan University in 2005 and 2007, respectively. Upon graduation, he spent one year as a Finance and Budget Sergeant at Military Police Command. After finishing his obligatory military service, he worked at CyberLink as a software engineer. Now he is a research assistant at Academia Sinica.
