Application Deployment in Virtual Networks Using the X-Bone

1 This paper describes a framework for application deployment within virtual networks using X-Bone. The framework supports deployment of arbitrary applications and allows users to configure the runtime environment by executing user-provided scripts instead of hard-coding application commands into the system. It also automates the process of constructing virtual networks and deploying applications by using X-Bone.
