Since the emergence of e-learning several years ago, the anticipated benefits of sharing content using P2P networks have not really been achieved yet. Clearly, sharing of music and similar content works fine using P2P technology. In this paper we explore whether and how P2P network technology could be used to share e-learning content. Our contribution is to analyze the requirements for P2P content-sharing and to elaborate on the prerequisites for building more successful attempts for sharing e-learning content. The result of our work will help others to create successful P2P e-learning networks.
