A Collaborative Framework to Realize Virtual Enterprises Using 3APL

Abstract. In this paper, we propose a collaborative framework to realize a Virtual Enterprise (VE) for the domain of Micro Assembly. The framework is developed using 3APL technologies [5] and employs the idea of viewing WebService composition as a planning problem [10]. We describe the implementation of the framework and experiment with two micro assembly work cells.
