Estimation of satellite pitch attitude from aster image data

: Images taken by an instrument on a satellite suffer from geometric error. The main factor is parallax and change in satellite attitude. In this study, reliable information on satellite attitude is extracted from image data set taken by Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection radiometer(ASTER). This method can be applied to other satellites, such as ikonos, QuickBird, SELENE.
