A Framework for Developing Local E-government

The paper firstly proposes a framework for developing local e-government which is based on the concept of an information system and its four perspectives: stakeholders, business environment, technology drivers, and methodology. Then the framework is used in the discussion of the results gained from a survey of Thai local government websites. The discussion based on the framework focuses on some factors that are involved in developing Thai local government websites. KEY-WORDS: local e-government, government websites
