Interactive Visit of a Website

: The paper presents different possibilities for implementing a virtual guide, able to assist the user in visiting a web site. The user should be able to navigate around, while the virtual guide will show him/her small videos presenting the current web page, speaking about the content, the way to use different web applications. Another possible use is to allow the user to take a guided tour, where the guide will lead the user on one of a certain number of possible paths, presenting for example the different steps for obtaining certain results. The paper presents two possible implementations for such an application, as well as their respective advantages and disadvantages. It is currently in the final phase of development and is based upon a combination of the two different implementations identified.
