An interval logic for natural language semantics

An interval logic for natural language semantics
Most temporal logics, particularly interval temporal logics, are not expressive enough to capture meanings of natural language constructions, and they are not convenient to represent temporal expressions. In addition, these formal systems exhibit high computational complexity. In this paper we introduce a decidable event-based interval logic, called EIL. EIL can express the semantics of some natural language constructions.
