OdeFS: A File System Interface to an Object-Oriented Database

OdeFSis a file-like interface to the Ode objectoriented database. OdeFS allows database objects to be accessedand manipulated with standardcommands,just like files in atraditional file system. No recompilation is required, so proprietary applications can accessOde objects. OdeFSis implementedas a network file server, using the NFS protocol. This paper describes OdeFSandits implementation.
