The Ada programming language has been designed from the ground up for safety-critical real-time systems. This trend has continued with the Ada 2005 language deﬁnition which has incorporated the Ravenscar Proﬁle for high-integrity systems into the language standard. Here we describe the operational semantics for Ada Ravenscar code generated automatically from an architecture description of the system given in the Architecture Analysis and Design Language.
