Personal photo books are a popular means of capturing important moments and people have ever created this kind of multimedia presentations. With the advent of digital photography it is now possible to digitally design a photo book on a home computer and let it be printed by commercial photo finishers like CeWe Color1 . In this paper we identify the different steps that are necessary before such a photo book is ready to be printed and describe them in terms of the proposed model of canonical processes of media production.
