Theyneedto organize and structure intellectualpropertyfor efficientandeffectivere-use.In this paper, wediscuss the RFPResponder,a prototype system beingdevelopedat TelcordiaTechnologies,for effectively respondingto RFPs(Requestfor Proposals)receivedby the ProfessionalServicesstrategic businessunit. Theuse of domainspecific ontologiesandlatent semanticindexingfor effective categorizationandselectionof knowledgeassets is presented. Theexpectedbusiness impactof the systemis also discussed.
