The paper mainly discusses the DRM-enabled learning object model. Firstly, it analyses the art-of-status of Intellectual Property Rights in e-learning. Secondly, according to application scenarios, granularity and e-commercial model, the paper probes into DRM-enabled learning object model based on Learning Object Model or Content Packaging standard. Following this, it describes the DRM-enabled learning object model by using MPEG21 Rights Expression Language. At last, it also evaluates the features of different DRM-enabled learning object models according to granularity, complexity, flexibility and instructional meaning.
