Script MIB Extension for Resource Limitation in SNMP Distributed Management Environments

Abstract. Resource limitation on management scripts has been an important requirement for distributed management environments. This article proposes a Script MIB extension with new objects able to control the usage of specic resources (physical memory, processing cycles, among others) for each script launched inside the distributed environment.
