Simple Library Thesaurus Alignment with SILAS

Abstract. This paper describes a system written in C which employs the instancebased approach to ontology alignment of library thesauri. It computes relatedness relations between subsets of a library catalogue. Even a very basic method to calculate confidence in the found relation yields usable alignment results. 1 Presentation of the system
