: The paper presents results from an ongoing agricultural project where the Internet is used for efficient transfer of knowledge and technology between Denmark and the Baltic countries. Danish weather-based models for risk of crop diseases and pests have been validated under Baltic conditions and small weather stations have been installed in agricultural areas in the three countries. Web technology has being implemented for the presentation of weather and daily risk values of diseases and pests. The results of the project demonstrate that the Internet makes it possible to transfer knowledge and technology between countries with different stages of technological or economical development.
