Using Object Variants to Support Context-Aware Interactions

We discuss the need to extend general models and systems for context-awareness to include adaptation of interactions to context. Our approach was motivated by our experiences of developing mobile applications based on novel modes of interaction. We describe how we were able to support context-aware interactions using an object-oriented framework that we had already developed to support context-aware web applications.
