www.cbl.uh.edu The Computational Biomedicine Lab (CBL) was established in 1997 at the University of Houston and is committed to excellence in image analysis, with an emphasis on applications that address some of society's greatest challenges. CBL has two broad focus areas: biometrics and biomedicine. CBL is striving to be at the forefront of research in biomedical imaging and biomedical computing, to attract the finest undergraduate and graduate students and prepare them for leadership roles, and to integrate research with education and scholarship. The lab fosters innovative collaborations with other institutions, creates transferable technology, and disseminates results to scientific and medical communities and the general public. The lab members and their collaborators are breaking new research ground in the areas of cardiovascular informatics and biometrics.
