Cultural Impact on Intergroup Coordination in Software Development in China: A Qualitative Analysis
Intergroup coordination is critical for the success of software projects. This paper examines the impact of Chinese national culture on intergroup coordination success factors through qualitative analysis of semistructured interviews with programmers from different sized companies. A comparison based on corporate culture, company size and related factors is conducted to analyze the differences among companies. Implications and directions for future research are discussed. .
