A Consistency Maintenance Approach in Replicated Services
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) making the interactions between applications much easier, but the service delay and unstable network will block the whole business process. Replicated services is a good choice to resolve this problem. Traditional methods can not satisfy RIC properties in SOA. This paper is the first to present a Replicated Services solution under SOA. This is the first achievement made service able to be replicated. It make the SOA more stable and flexible. For multiple Service replicas, by separating Service and Service data, and introducing data access wrapper, we settle the challenge of data consistency control. It can support concurrent operations in the same service replica through introducing a new timestamping scheme. Compare with some existed consistency maintenance algorithms, it is a lockless algorithm which can guarantee the RIC properties among the services.
