UN/CEFACT’s modeling methodology (UMM) is used to develop global choreographies of inter-organizational business processes. UMM models should be publically available in order to foster re-use and to reference them in trading partner agreements. In this paper we define a mapping of UMM models or parts thereof to the ebXML registry information model (RIM). 1 Motivation A succesful B2B implementation requires not only commonly accepted document types, but also an agreed choreography of the supported business proccesses. A choreography describes the flow of interactions between the participating business partners that interlink their individual processes. We distinguish local and global choreographies.
