Invalidation for CORBA Caching in Wireless Devices
Wireless devices are widely used to get some information from the Internet. However, limited bandwidth, frequent disconnections and different communication protocols are most common problems in these devices to communicate with fixed network. Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is a middleware architecture developed by Object Management Group (OMG) to establish communications amongst some different devices architectures. In this paper, we propose an approach to use Object by Value and Invalidation Report mechanisms to cache a CORBA object in a mobile environment. The aim of our approach is to solve some problems occurred in the existing CORBA caching approach.
