Grid computing is becoming more and more attractive to provide a convenient uniform platform for coordinating highly distributed and heterogeneous resources and services. GridPPI provides a group of and abstract function prototypes which could be used to couple multiple computing services distributed over grid to conquer complex computing problems. To provide the advanced users, such as programmers, a convenient, effective, familiar and convenient way to use and harmony the resources and services in the ChinaGrid environment, GridPPI is introduced into ChinaGrid Support Platform. In this paper, the WSRF service-oriented implementation and evaluation of the GridPPI on CGSP2 (GridPPICGSP2), are discussed in detail. Performance analysis shows that our efforts could provide a flexible and effective programming library in the grid environment.
