User Interface Design of the Interactive Fingerprint Recognition (INFIR) System
- INFIR (Interactive Fingerprint Recognition) is an interactive fingerprint recognition and visualization tool. The tool is designed to cope with the problems related to automated and manual methods of matching. Interactive techniques involving automated fingerprint recognition can be used along with human intervention. The users of the system can visually monitor the process of recognition. Additionally, they can specify the parameters involved in the process. Feedback is provided to the user at every stage of the process. INFIR is currently under development. Progress and extensions to the tool are discussed.
