Recent developments in information and communication technology have set in motion a revolution within the Banking sector which has resulted in a new channel for banking services and products delivered via e-Banking. The potential exists for an increasing population of older Web users to become a major factor in the success and profitability of eBanking websites. Due to the natural ageing process, this group are subject to a decline in their visual, motor and cognitive abilities. These age-related impairments form the major barriers that adversely affect Web accessibility for the older community.
