Traditional knowledge management mechanism focused on the re-usage of knowledge library. However, it lacks the ability of knowledge innovation and co-creation. Meanwhile, employee should experience the process recognition and formation of knowledge. Therefore, if therefore has any mechanism, which can be used to improve these problems, it will be helpful on improving the competition of industry. The purpose of the research is the development of a mechanism of intelligent knowledge management for steel industry. The mechanism could be used to retrieve information of material resources, generate cutting rules for manufacturing, control inventory and experience translating.
