Integrating Component Tests to System Tests

During the verification phase in component-oriented approaches to (embedded) system development component tests are generally followed by system tests, often using different testing specifications and environments. Thus, when integrating components in the overall system, the actual implementation platform may differ from the development platform, leading to a deviation in the component behavior.
