The GIS/SA interface for substantive research(ers): A critical need

This paper is concerned with the intersection of GIS and spatial analysis, its accessibility for scientists who may be less methodologically oriented than others, and its use in substantive research driven by theoretical, conceptual, and empirical issues central to one's discipline.
