Compression of the Stream Array Data Structure
In recent years, many approaches to XML twig pattern query (TPQ) processing have been developed. Some algorithms are supported by a stream abstract data type. s an abstract data type usually implemented using inverted list or special purpose data structure. In this article, we focus on an efficient implementation of a stream ADT. We utilize features of a stream ADT in order to implement compressed stream array and compare it with regular stream array.
