Adaptive Link Generation for Multiperspective Thinking in Web-Based Exploratory Learning
In order to heighten the effectiveness of web-based exploratory learning, we have designed and implemented adaptive link generation that facilitates multiperspective thinking about learning topics on the web. Our adaptive link generation, which works on free-hyperlink environment where learners can create new hyperlinks independent of static hyperlink and share the new hyperlinks on the web, recommends the sharable hyperlinks created by other learners with low similarity of interests. This recommendation is based on our assumption: Perspectives in thinking activity may show up as a difference of the destination pages connected with the sharable hyperlinks, that is, a difference of learners' interests.
