Currently there is a lack of explicit theories and few detailed guidelines to support the development of Mixed Reality (MR) technology and its varied applications. This research focuses on this lack by supporting the design, development and evaluation of MR lifecycle phases. The discussed methodology is based on the model-based approach for the design support and on analysis of continuous interaction properties to measure interaction techniques. Author Keywords Mixed Reality, continuous interaction, interaction techniques. ACM Classification Keywords D.2.2 [Software Engineering]: Design Tools and Techniques ? User interfaces. I.3.6 [Computer Graphics]: Methodology and Techniques ? Interaction techniques. H.5.1 [Information Interfaces and Presentation]: Multimedia Information Systems ? Artificial, augmented, and virtual realities.
