Empowering Students With Ict Competences

The aim of this paper is to analyze the continuous learning process from the Open Distance Learning Department of the University of Bucharest. We will underline the personal prolusion of trainers, solutions discovered and implemented in training process of distance learning students. The final goal of the training process regardless the target group is to transmit our students the knowledge in the IT field. But the learning process must be adapted in accordance with the students groups and its particularities (age, experience in IT field, background, and initial experience). For all of the students we use on line courses with a friendly user graphic interface, accessible and interactive. This paper contains personal experience of instructors and their methods used in the learning process. KEYWORDS Training, learning process, information technology, distance education.
