Technology and Challenges of M-Commerce
Shortly after the advent of digital mobile phone service, a new innovative way of doing business known as mobile commerce (M-commerce) was created. Mobile commerce has been a huge success in terms of individuals' adoption in some markets like Japan, while, surprisingly, not as flourishing in others. This article reviews the technology behind M-commerce and the products and services currently available. It also examines the challenges of M-commerce.
