Electronic paper is a new material technology for displays and consists of a thin, flexible plastic foil containing an arrangement of coloured particles for creating an image. This technology will be used to establish an Electronic Newspaper. For the implementation it is necessary to form cooperations between formerly detached companies, e.g. publishing houses and network operators, which makes a realignment of the value chains and of the core competences necessary.
