Creativity has become a valuable asset, given the fast paced changes most companies must nowadays deal with. Companies now look for creative, highly adaptive individuals who can explore new solutions and quickly adapt to changes in the environment. Studies of creativity have shown that it has a social aspect and that interdisciplinary groups seem to lead to more innovative ideas being generated. More often than not, complex problems can only be handled by groups of individuals who bring their individual knowledge, experiences and skills to the table.
