This paper describes the development of an Adaptive Learning Management System with Support for 3D Collaboration (ALMaS-3D) and presents an evaluation of its main functionalities. Approaches for adaptive and collaborative techniques, used in the system design, are discussed, showing how teachers and students can consider these properties to improve learning. The functionalities of the ALMaS-3D were evaluated, focusing on the ease of use attribute. Special attention was given to the evaluation of virtual reality and augmented reality used as 3D collaboration tools.
