A design of digital rights management system utilizing multimedia content identifiers

All around of people live in the age based on information and knowledge in recent period. It is WWW/Internet technology that provides efficiency and power, which can lead the new wave of information and knowledge. The digitalization of information is expressed as the digital revolution. In recent, there is more and more increased distribution and consumption of digital multimedia content. This paper is started a viewpoint of these environments. This paper aims at suggesting digital rights management system for the stable management using digital multimedia content identifier. Identifier is merely code number without meaning of simple digital multimedia content. It is new distribution and consumption environment utilizing identifier and its metadata. Identifier must contain metadata of information related intellectual property rights; also Metadata should be consistently updated about revised information.
