: Telco operators and other players are searching for intelligent value-added services, i.e., communication applications that take advantage of the huge amount of user data available to the operators (location, contact lists, etc.) in order to adapt themselves to the preferences and context of each individual. However, the current networks of the operators lack the proper infrastructure to handle context data in a clean and unified way, so smart context-aware applications are extremely difficult to engineer, develop and deploy.
