Korean Word Associations: The Linked Structures for Language Learning
This paper reports on Korean Word Associations (KorWA) which were collected to construct a semantic network for Korean language. An approach of graph representation and network analysis allow us to effectively discern the semantic structures within words and to acquire abundant lexical knowledge. This methodology is not only a useful tool for the semantic study in computational linguistics, but also provides information valuable for language learners.
