An Authoring Environment for E-Learning

In recent years the increasing use of the WWW in learning environments has enabled the development of different systems for distributing and producing web-based courses. In such systems, called e-learning platforms, an important problem is the knowledge representation, which needs to be structured in order to create a better customized learning track. Up now, e-learning environments have been largely systems for distributing the contents. This work proposes an integration between an e-learning platform and an intelligent component that guides the presentation of the expert knowledge and that enables customized delivery of the teaching materials.
