Canonical Decomposition of Steerable Functions

This paper presents a general formulation enabling determination of all functions that are steerable under any transformation group. These steerable functions are determineduniquely in terms of the linear function spaces in which these functions belong. The paper suggests a canonical decomposition of these function spaces based on their generalization. The formulation is based on the theory of Lie group, and hence deals with such transformations.
