Partial and Dynamically Reconfiguration of Xilinx Virtex-II FPGAs
Current trends show that partial and dynamic reconfiguration can be used in adaptive systems. These systems are able to adapt themselves to the demand of their environment during run-time. This flexibility can be used for many industrial applications. Unfortunately the current documentation for using this methodology isn’t sufficient. This gap should be closed with a tutorial that shows the possibilities of this feature and also gives some precious hints for designers.
