In this paper, we present an efficient method for calibrating many camera views simultaneously. We derive an error function based on the mutual consistency of the object silhouettes in pairs of views and explicitly derive gradients that are employed for minimizing the error function. Our experimental results suggest that the gradient-based minimization of the error function robustly calibrates multiple camera views. Due to the explicit availability of gradients, the technique is also computationally efficient.
